R2P Accountant (Arabic Speaker)

About the role

Talent Grid Africa, on behalf of a leading professional services and testing firm, seeks an experienced R2P Accountant who is fluent in Arabic. The role involves managing the Requisition‑to‑Pay process, ensuring accurate and compliant transaction processing for Arabic‑speaking entities and suppliers.

Key responsibilities

• Perform three‑way matching of purchase orders, goods receipts and invoices, verifying coding, tax treatment and approvals.
• Identify, resolve or escalate invoice discrepancies, duplicates and non‑compliant transactions, and process pre‑payments.
• Maintain vendor master data, support onboarding, reconcile supplier statements and resolve outstanding balances.
• Prepare payment registers in coordination with in‑country finance teams and assist with bank reconciliations.
• Support month‑end R2P closing activities, including accruals and balance‑sheet reconciliations.
• Ensure compliance with procurement policies, internal controls and audit requirements, maintaining complete documentation.
• Prepare AP ageing reports, track invoices, monitor KPIs/SLAs and contribute to automation and process‑improvement initiatives.

Required profile

• Degree or Diploma in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 2 years of active accounting experience, preferably in Accounts Payable, R2P operations or Finance Shared Services.
• Fluent written and spoken Arabic.
• Strong English communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
• Professional qualification such as CPA or ACCA is an advantage.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with corporate ERP systems.
