R&D Engineer – Product & Applied Research

About the role

We are looking for an R&D Engineer to drive the development of next‑generation hardware, sensing technologies, and experimental platforms. You will work across the full innovation cycle, from concept exploration and rapid prototyping to validation and integration in industrial settings.

Key responsibilities

• Research, design and develop new physical systems and technologies.
• Build and test prototypes involving sensors, fluid dynamics, and advanced materials.
• Plan, execute and document laboratory experiments and physical measurements.
• Analyze experimental data and collaborate with machine‑learning, firmware and mechanical teams.
• Produce technical documentation, experimental reports and contribute to IP generation.
• Support the transfer of R&D outcomes into real‑world industrial applications.

Required profile

• Degree in Mechanical, Industrial, Chemical Engineering, Physics or a related field.
• Hands‑on experience in experimental engineering, prototyping, or fluid/thermal systems.
• Proficiency with data‑analysis tools such as Python or MATLAB.
• Ability to design and run structured experiments and interpret physical measurements.
• Strong analytical and problem‑solving mindset.
