Real Estate Accountant

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Accountant to support the day‑to‑day financial operations of multiple construction and development projects. The role works closely with project managers to ensure accurate, timely financial information and helps drive sound financial decisions across the portfolio.

Key responsibilities

• Track project costs, including labor, materials, and subcontractor expenses.
• Prepare and maintain job‑cost reports, reconciliations, and budget‑to‑actual variance analyses.
• Produce monthly financial statements, supporting schedules, and cash‑flow forecasts.
• Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and cash‑flow analysis for each project.
• Process vendor invoices, subcontractor payments, and manage accounts payable/receivable.
• Support billing, collection efforts, and resolve account discrepancies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• At least 1 year of accounting experience in construction, real‑estate development, or property management.
• Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.

Required skills

• Proficiency with accounting software.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
