Recruiter - Medical and Healthcare

About the role

Databand Consultants Limited is hiring a full-time recruiter for medical and healthcare roles, based in Nairobi (Westlands). The role covers the end-to-end recruitment process for both clinical and non-clinical positions.

Key responsibilities

• Workforce planning: partner with hiring managers to clarify role requirements, success criteria, salary ranges and timelines.
• Sourcing: use professional networks, referrals, databases, social platforms, events and education partners to find candidates.
• Screening and selection: review applications and CVs, run structured interviews, coordinate technical and behavioural assessments and prepare evidence-based shortlists.
• Candidate care: guide candidates through each stage, set timelines, give constructive feedback and keep respectful communication.
• Hiring process: coordinate interviews, panel schedules, reference checks and lawful background verifications, and prepare offer documentation in line with company policy and local legislation.
• Data and compliance: keep accurate records, protect personal information and follow equal opportunity principles and local legal requirements.
• Continuous improvement: track time-to-hire, quality of hire, candidate satisfaction and cost of hire, and use insights to improve sourcing and selection.
• Talent pooling: maintain warm pipelines for hard-to-fill roles.
