Recruitment Manager

About the role

The Head of Recruitment leads GSM's end-to-end talent acquisition function, attracting, selecting and onboarding high-quality candidates in a timely and cost-effective way. The role designs recruitment strategies, manages a team of recruiters, partners with department heads on hiring needs and builds a strong employer brand.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and continuously improve recruitment strategy, policies and processes across all departments and levels.
• Lead, mentor and manage the recruitment team, set goals, monitor performance and build capability.
• Partner with department heads and senior leadership to forecast hiring needs and turn them into recruitment plans.
• Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for key and senior positions: sourcing, screening, interviewing, offer negotiation and onboarding.
• Build a candidate pipeline through sourcing, employee referrals, campus engagement and agency partnerships.
• Manage relationships with recruitment agencies, job boards, universities and other external talent sources.
• Promote the employer brand on career sites, social media and job fairs.
• Track and report metrics such as time-to-fill, cost-per-hire, quality-of-hire and offer-acceptance rate.
• Ensure compliance with labor laws, internal policies and DEI standards.
• Manage the recruitment budget (agency fees, advertising, events) and benchmark compensation and hiring practices against the market.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field; Master's is a plus.
• 5-8+ years of recruitment/talent acquisition experience, including at least 2-3 years in a managerial or team-lead capacity.
• Proven track record managing full-cycle recruitment for a range of roles, including senior and specialized positions.
• Demonstrated experience building and leading a recruitment team.
