Regional Manager

About the role

The Regional Manager will lead the profitability and operational health of an assigned region for Fortress Lenders Ltd. Acting as the bridge between head‑office strategy and branch execution, you will drive expansion, maintain a high‑quality loan portfolio and foster a high‑performance culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute regional growth plans, open new branches and identify market opportunities.
• Build and manage strategic partnerships with local authorities and business partners.
• Conduct market research and competitor analysis to inform product innovation.
• Monitor Portfolio at Risk (PAR), manage delinquency and approve high‑value loan applications.
• Ensure 100% collection efficiency through field visits and performance monitoring.
• Recruit, coach and mentor Branch Managers and staff, set targets and conduct performance appraisals.
• Champion company values and maintain a cohesive, professional work environment.
• Guarantee compliance with lending policies, regulatory requirements and SOPs; prepare regular performance reports and oversee audit readiness.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics or related field; professional certification (CPA, Credit Management, Project Management) is a plus.
• Minimum 3 years experience in micro‑finance or credit industry.
• At least 3 years in a senior supervisory role managing multiple branches or teams of 10+ staff.
• High emotional intelligence, strong conflict‑resolution skills and willingness to travel extensively within the region.
