About the role
Equity Bank Kenya is seeking a Regional Relationship Manager for its Biashara Banking division in the North‑Eastern Region. The role focuses on overseeing loan quality, driving business growth, and ensuring compliance across branch operations.
Key responsibilities
- Monitor daily loan origination at branch level, identify malpractices and ensure quality management.
- Review sampled loan disbursements, engage staff on arrears management and enforce policy compliance.
- Provide training, mentorship and coaching to branch staff and Credit Committees.
- Develop sector products, manage partnerships and bring business aggregators into the region.
- Lead marketing initiatives, track business leads and support regional strategy implementation.
- Conduct weekly performance reviews, identify talent gaps and recommend staff deployment.
Required profile
- Business‑related university degree (Bachelor’s).
- Minimum 6 years’ experience as a Relationship Supervisor in Biashara Banking.
- Strong interpersonal, coaching and negotiation abilities.
- Proven leadership, planning and organizational skills.
