Regional Sales Representative – Energy Storage Products

About the role

We are seeking a Regional Sales Representative to drive the growth of our energy storage product portfolio across a designated Kenyan territory. The role involves direct customer development, sales visits and partnership building with local distributors, installers and EPC contractors.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and expand sales channels for residential and commercial energy storage systems, lithium batteries and inverters.
• Identify, nurture and maintain relationships with distributors, dealers, solar companies and key end‑customers.
• Conduct customer visits, product presentations, needs assessments, negotiate contracts, prepare quotations and collect payments.
• Collaborate with the technical team to design suitable product configurations.
• Gather and report market intelligence on demand, competition, pricing and upcoming projects.
• Support dealer training, product exhibitions and other marketing activities.
• Coordinate order delivery, installation and after‑sales support to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Provide regular reports on sales performance and regional market conditions.

Required profile

• Minimum three years of experience in energy storage, solar energy, lithium batteries, inverters or related renewable‑energy sectors.
• Established network of industry contacts and sales‑channel resources in Kenya.
• Residency in the assigned territory (Mombasa, Kisumu or Eldoret) and ability to work onsite.
• Strong knowledge of the local renewable‑energy market.
