Regional Sales Team Leader - Mombasa

About the role

We are looking for a Regional Sales Team Leader to drive growth for Jamii Telecommunications in the Mombasa region. The role combines strategic sales planning with hands‑on team management to expand market share and meet ambitious revenue targets.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales strategies to increase market share in the assigned region.
• Lead, coach and motivate a team of sales agents, ensuring they meet individual and collective targets.
• Maintain and grow the customer base, building strong relationships with key accounts and identifying new opportunities.
• Prepare and monitor sales action plans, uphold quality and customer‑service standards.
• Handle customer complaints and enquiries, presenting appropriate technology solutions.
• Analyse market trends, recommend improvements, and track competitor activity.
• Identify new product and service opportunities based on consumer needs.
• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets for the region.
• Develop partnerships with business and technical partners across the region.

Required profile

• Degree in Business, Marketing, Sales or related field (e.g., BBIT).
• 5‑6 years of direct sales experience, with at least 3 years in a supervisory role.
• Consistent record of meeting or exceeding sales targets.
• Relevant experience in the telecommunications industry.
• Proficiency with CRM software and Microsoft Office suite.
• Strong strategic thinking and planning abilities.
