Regional Supply Chain Strengthening Coordinator

About the role

Plan International is seeking a Regional Supply Chain Strengthening Coordinator to enhance the efficiency and impact of its supply chain operations across Kenya. You will work closely with the Regional Supply Chain Specialist to assess, improve, and support country office supply chain functions, ensuring timely and quality delivery for project participants.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct assessments of country office supply chain structures, capacities, and processes.
• Identify gaps and support recruitment, team restructuring, and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Monitor performance against core metrics and KPIs, and prepare related reports.
• Provide training, mentorship, and technical support to staff, both virtually and on‑site.
• Facilitate the use of the SAP ERP system and ensure best practices are applied.
• Coordinate Communities of Practice, workshops, and knowledge‑sharing activities across the region.
• Deploy to country offices as needed to establish supply chain standards and address specific challenges.

Required profile

• Proven experience in supply chain management within humanitarian or development contexts.
• Strong analytical skills to assess processes, identify gaps, and design improvement plans.
• Ability to work collaboratively with regional and country teams and adapt to changing priorities.
• Excellent communication and training skills for capacity‑building activities.
