About the role
The Registered Clinical Officer provides comprehensive medical evaluation, treatment and consultation services to patients at Neema Hospital in Nairobi. The role involves responding to emergencies, taking patient histories, conducting examinations, prescribing medications, and ensuring high‑quality patient care. The officer will also ensure accurate clinical documentation and coordinate referrals as needed.
Key responsibilities
- Provide medical evaluation, treatment and consultation services to patients.
- Respond to emergencies and answer medical questions.
- Issue medical orders for prescription refills, medication administration and referrals.
- Educate patients, supervise patient care and be available personally to answer questions.
- Maintain accurate clinical records and complete paperwork for insurance and reimbursement compliance.
Required profile
- Diploma in Clinical Medicine and Surgery.
- Registration with the Clinical Officers Council.
- Valid practising licence.
