Registered Nurse – Machakos (Full‑time)

About the role

The Hospital is seeking a compassionate Registered Nurse to join its team in Machakos. This full‑time position involves delivering high‑quality patient care in a fast‑paced clinical environment. The successful candidate will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to ensure safe and effective treatment.

Key responsibilities

• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate individualized patient care.
• Monitor patients' conditions and promptly report any changes to the attending clinician.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.
• Maintain accurate and timely patient records and nursing documentation.
• Educate patients and families on disease prevention, treatment and health promotion.
• Ensure adherence to infection prevention and control standards.
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to provide quality healthcare services.
• Uphold patient safety, confidentiality and professional nursing ethics at all times.

Required profile

• Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing from a recognized institution.
• Registered and licensed by the Nursing Council of Kenya with a valid practicing license.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast‑paced healthcare environment.
• Professionalism, integrity and commitment to quality patient care.
