Relationship Manager - Infrastructure & Energy

About the role

KCB Group is hiring a Relationship Manager for its Infrastructure & Energy portfolio. The role covers strategy implementation, business development, relationship management, account monitoring and risk management, and is based in Westlands.

Key responsibilities

• Implement the Infrastructure & Energy portfolio strategy in line with the Bank's corporate and business objectives, delivering revenue, profitability, balance sheet, customer acquisition and growth targets.
• Acquire new clients and identify opportunities for sustainable portfolio expansion.
• Execute business development initiatives, collaborate with product, sector and business teams, and drive cross-selling and upselling.
• Manage pricing, profitability and portfolio returns while improving customer experience and satisfaction.
• Build and deepen strategic relationships with key clients, engage senior decision-makers and deliver tailored financial solutions.
• Monitor daily referrals so that client facilities stay within Bank parameters, and exercise discretion on account conduct.
• Maintain portfolio quality within approved risk appetite (including NPL and PAR thresholds), strengthen risk controls and governance, ensure regulatory and policy compliance, and run regular portfolio reviews.

Required profile

• University degree from a recognised institution.
• At least five years of experience in the financial or banking sector.
• Minimum three years in corporate relationship management within infrastructure, construction, engineering and energy.
• Minimum five years each in credit and financial analysis and in client portfolio management.
• Deep knowledge of trade and transaction banking products and of the infrastructure and energy value chains.
