About the role
The Research Assistant will support senior academic staff with departmental assignments and pursue a relevant Master’s degree programme. This full‑time position is based at Bomet University College in Westlands, Kenya, and includes additional duties as required.
Key responsibilities
- Assist senior academic members of staff in assignments as allocated by the Head of Department.
- Undertake a relevant Master degree programme while working.
- Carry out other duties and responsibilities as assigned from time to time.
Required profile
- Bachelor's degree with at least Second‑class honors (Upper Division) from an accredited university.
- Demonstrable potential for university teaching and/or research during the interview.
- Registerable by the relevant regulatory body where applicable.
- Evidence of membership or affiliation to a relevant professional body where applicable.
