Retail Experience Intern

About the role

The Retail Experience Intern will support the day‑to‑day operations of an Airtel retail shop, assisting the customer service team to deliver excellent customer experiences. This role offers hands‑on learning in sales, customer care, product knowledge and operational processes within a leading telecommunications environment.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome and assist customers visiting the shop in a professional and friendly manner.
• Respond to basic queries about Airtel products and services, such as SIM registration, airtime, bundles and device troubleshooting.
• Escalate customer complaints to Customer Service Executives or the Shop Manager for resolution.
• Promote Airtel products, services and offers, including guiding customers through Airtel Money registration, PIN reset and transactions.
• Maintain shop displays, branding and cleanliness to ensure a professional environment.

Required profile

• Recent graduate with a bachelor’s degree in marketing, sales, business management or a related field.
• 1‑2 years of experience in sales, trade promotions, brand visibility or customer service.
