Retail Sales Representative – Professional Pest Management

About the role

The Retail Sales Representative will drive sustainable sales growth of Syngenta's Professional Pest Management (PPM) portfolio across the Westlands area. You will act as the product expert, building strong relationships with retail channel partners and supporting them with training and market insights.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute sales activity plans to achieve quarterly and yearly revenue targets.
• Build and maintain professional relationships with existing and potential retail channel partners.
• Provide product training and technical support to partners and end‑users.
• Analyse market opportunities and present proposals aligned with Sub‑Saharan Africa PPM go‑to‑market strategies.
• Deliver accurate sales forecasts, monitor partner performance, and prepare weekly sales reports.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree, preferably in Agriculture or a related field.
• Minimum 2 years of field sales experience, preferably in pest‑management or agricultural products.
• Strong customer focus with excellent presentation and negotiation skills.
• Valid motorbike driving licence and willingness to travel extensively on a motorbike.
