Rider Supervisor - Operations

About the role

A private security services provider is recruiting, through a staffing agency, full-time Rider Supervisors for its operations in Lavington, Nairobi. The supervisor oversees security personnel across assigned areas, ensures proper deployment and manning of security assignments, maintains operational standards and enforces compliance with company procedures and client instructions. The role suits people with practical experience in private security operations and strong supervisory skills.

Key responsibilities

• Ensure proper manning and deployment of security officers during assigned shifts within the area of responsibility.
• Introduce new security guards to clients during leave swoops, replacements and other deployment changes.
• Conduct assignment induction and on-the-job training for newly deployed security personnel.
• Maintain high standards of turnout, appearance and professionalism, and supervise officers so they stay disciplined and adhere to company standards.
• Take immediate, firm and fair corrective action for misconduct, escalating matters where necessary.
• Make sure officers complete and sign the Daily Checklist and monitor operational performance.
• Keep effective communication with security personnel, clients and management.

Required profile

• KCSE certificate with a minimum grade of C Plain.
• At least three years of working experience in a private security firm.
• Ability to manage, guide and discipline security personnel professionally.
• High levels of integrity, responsibility and professionalism; able to work under pressure.

• Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.

The position is full-time, based in Lavington, Nairobi, with a stated salary of KES 25,000 per month.
