About the role
The Kenya Medical Training College is recruiting a Security Assistant III (AN-Scale KMTC 9) in Westlands, Nairobi. This is a full-time position focused on protecting the college premises and its people.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain close liaison with local administration and National Police personnel
- Undertake work shifts and duty rosters
- Implement security directives and recommendations
- Carry out security emergency operations
- Identify, screen, authorise and report on staff, students and clients accessing the college facility
- Detect, investigate, prevent and prepare reports of crimes
Required profile
- Diploma in Criminology, Security Management, Forensic Science, Police Studies, Cyber Security or another security-related discipline from a recognised institution
- Valid Basic First Aid Certificate
Required skills
- Proficiency in computer applications
