Safety and Security Manager

About the role

CloudFactory is looking for a Safety and Security Manager to act as the primary gatekeeper for office entrance security. The role involves managing access control, monitoring security systems, and responding to incidents to keep people and premises safe during a six‑month fixed‑term assignment.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and control access for employees, contractors and visitors at the office entrance.
• Operate and review CCTV cameras and other security systems to detect unauthorized activity.
• Maintain access control databases, issue keycards or access codes, and oversee visitor sign‑in procedures.
• Conduct routine patrols of the facility to deter unauthorized entry.
• Respond promptly to security alarms, investigate root causes and take corrective action.
• Assist with emergency procedures such as evacuations and provide support during incidents.
• Keep accurate records of security incidents, access logs and keycard issuance.
• Advise staff on security protocols, develop policies and ensure compliance with relevant regulations.

Required profile

• Proven experience in office security, access control and incident response.
• Ability to work independently as the main point of contact for security matters.
• Familiarity with health‑and‑safety compliance and emergency preparedness.
• Strong attention to detail and record‑keeping skills.
