About the role
We are looking for a dedicated Safety and Security Officer to protect our Container Freight Station (CFS) in Mombasa. The role involves applying safety and security protocols, observing operations, and enforcing regulations to maintain a secure environment.
Key responsibilities
- Ensure the safety and security of the CFS premises.
- Enforce safety and security regulations effectively.
- Maintain accurate safety and security logs.
- Prepare and submit detailed reports on incidents and observations.
- Apply emergency response protocols when required.
Required profile
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Certification in safety and security management (preferred).
- 3‑5 years of experience in safety and security operations, preferably in logistics or freight forwarding.
- Experience in a Container Freight Station is advantageous.
Required skills
- Report writing.
- Maintenance of safety and security logs.
- Knowledge of safety and security regulations.
- Familiarity with cargo handling procedures.
- Understanding of emergency response protocols.
- Strong observational abilities.
