Sales and Marketing Officer

About the role

Taifa Mobile Limited is hiring a full-time Sales and Marketing Officer based in Westlands, Nairobi. The role covers sales of mobile solutions such as Bulk SMS, USSD, Short Codes, Bulk Data, Voice Solutions, Skiza Tunes and Payment Solutions, as well as supporting marketing campaigns and brand visibility.

Key responsibilities

• Achieve monthly, quarterly and annual sales targets and promote Taifa Mobile solutions
• Identify and develop new business opportunities and strategic partnerships
• Generate and follow up on leads through direct sales, networking, referrals and digital channels
• Maintain relationships with existing and prospective clients and conduct client meetings, presentations and demonstrations
• Prepare quotations, contracts, product proposals and sales reports
• Conduct market research and support debt collection and payment follow-up
• Coordinate with ICT and Customer Care teams for onboarding and service delivery
• Assist in planning marketing campaigns, digital marketing (social media, online advertising) and on-ground events such as roadshows and exhibitions
• Develop marketing concepts, create marketing materials and monitor campaign performance with ROI reports
• Gather customer feedback, maintain records of sales and marketing activities, and prepare weekly, monthly and quarterly reports
• Ensure compliance with company policies, regulatory requirements and branding guidelines, and take part in departmental meetings, training and performance reviews

Required profile

• Degree or diploma in Sales and Marketing or a related field
• 3 years of relevant experience
