About the role
We are looking for a friendly and proactive Sales Assistant to join our retail team. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them find the right products and ensuring a pleasant shopping experience.
Key responsibilities
- Greet customers, answer product queries and guide them to merchandise.
- Process payments accurately using cash registers or point‑of‑sale systems.
- Restock shelves, maintain visual displays and assist with inventory counts.
- Handle customer complaints calmly and professionally.
- Maintain correct price labeling and ensure the sales floor is tidy and organized.
- Participate in in‑store marketing events and promotions.
- Develop in‑depth knowledge of the store’s product range to recommend items effectively.
Required profile
- Minimum High School (KCSE) certificate.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced retail environment.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Effective communication and exceptional customer service abilities.
