Sales Assistant - To Sell Ladies Clothes & Jewellery

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Sales Assistant to join our boutique in Westlands, Nairobi. You will be the first point of contact for customers, helping them discover the perfect clothing and jewellery pieces while delivering an excellent shopping experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet and assist customers, understand their needs, and recommend suitable items.
• Promote boutique products to meet daily and monthly sales targets.
• Handle inquiries, complaints, and feedback courteously.
• Process payments accurately and issue receipts.
• Arrange and maintain attractive product displays, restock shelves, and highlight new arrivals.
• Keep the boutique clean, tidy, and visually appealing.
• Monitor stock levels, report low inventory, and support periodic stock‑taking.
• Safeguard daily sales revenue and follow financial procedures.
• Represent the brand positively and build relationships with repeat customers.
• Support marketing initiatives such as promotions and events.

Required profile

• At least 1 year of retail sales experience, preferably in a boutique or fashion store.
• Strong communication and interpersonal abilities.
• Good understanding of fashion trends and customer preferences (advantageous).
• Basic numeracy for handling payments.
• Honest, reliable, well‑presented, and able to work with minimal supervision.
