Sales Development Representative – Outbound Prospecting

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Sales Development Representative to join our fast‑growing team in Nairobi. You will be the first point of contact with potential clients, responsible for qualifying leads and booking high‑quality meetings that drive pipeline growth.

Key responsibilities

• Execute high‑volume outbound outreach via cold calls, emails, LinkedIn and CRM follow‑ups.
• Manage multi‑touch sequences, consistently meeting or exceeding activity KPIs.
• Identify and qualify prospects based on the ideal customer profile, gathering key information such as business needs, decision‑makers, budget and timelines.
• Schedule qualified meetings for the sales team while maintaining strong conversion rates.
• Accurately log all interactions in the CRM, keep the pipeline clean and ensure smooth handoff to Account Executives.
• Participate in coaching sessions and performance reviews.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in SDR/BDR, cold calling or outbound sales (call centre or appointment setting).
• Proven experience with CRM tools such as Salesforce, HubSpot or Apollo.
• Strong understanding of sales processes and lead qualification.
• Fluent or advanced English (C1+).
