Sales & Marketing Assistant

About the role

Straight Media EA Ltd is hiring a Sales & Marketing Assistant in Westlands, Nairobi. The role covers lead generation, client negotiations and follow-up, and coordinating sales with marketing programmes.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads and meet or exceed sales goals
• Negotiate contracts with prospective clients and obtain deposits and balances of payment
• Prepare and submit sales contracts for orders
• Give sales presentations and visit clients and prospects to evaluate needs and promote products and services
• Answer client questions on credit terms, products, prices and availability
• Maintain client records and prepare weekly and monthly reports
• Coordinate sales efforts with marketing programmes and understand and promote company programmes

Required profile

• 3-5 years of work experience in marketing or sales
• Understanding of the sales process and dynamics
• Commitment to excellent customer service
• Able to work comfortably in a fast-paced environment
• Driving experience is an added advantage

Required skills

• Excellent written and verbal communication and superb interpersonal skills
• Experience using computers for a variety of tasks
• Competency in Microsoft Word, Excel and Outlook
