Sales Representative - Furniture Retail

About the role

Victoria Courts is hiring a Sales Representative in Eldoret. The role covers lead generation, client engagement and order processing in a furniture showroom, with a focus on meeting monthly sales targets and building long-term client relationships.

Key responsibilities

• Generate leads and maintain a healthy sales pipeline to meet and exceed monthly sales targets
• Welcome clients in the showroom, identify their needs and recommend suitable products and solutions
• Prepare and deliver product demonstrations with the technical team, and work with designers and visual merchandisers on layouts and mood boards
• Conduct client site visits and take accurate measurements where required
• Prepare quotations, confirm product availability, manage order booking and negotiate deals
• Process client payments, liaise with the front desk and warehouse for timely delivery, and act as the main point of contact for clients
• Provide after-sales support, gather feedback, resolve client concerns and update the client database
• Assist with showroom displays and share feedback with the Branch Manager

Required profile

• Minimum of 1-2 years' experience in furniture retail sales
• Strong track record in sales, client engagement and deal closure
• Excellent interpersonal, communication and presentation skills
• Self-motivated, proactive and entrepreneurial; team player with a strong sense of responsibility and business ethics
• Ability to engage confidently with high-end clients and customise solutions to their needs

Required skills

• Well-versed in CRM practices for maintaining client relationships
• Video interview, aptitude test and job simulation assessment required
