About the role

The school seeks a qualified professional to provide first aid and basic healthcare to pupils and staff, maintain medical records, and implement occupational health and safety policies within a safe, inclusive learning environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide first aid and basic healthcare to students and staff.
• Maintain accurate medical records and ensure confidentiality.
• Develop, implement and monitor occupational health and safety policies and risk assessments.
• Respond calmly and effectively to emergencies and conduct basic life support/CPR when needed.

Required profile

• Degree in Nursing (Diploma or Bachelor) with valid Nursing Council of Kenya registration and practising licence.
• Diploma or degree in Occupational Health and Safety/Public Health.
• Current certification in first aid and basic life support/CPR.
• Relevant experience in a school, healthcare, occupational‑health or similar setting.
• Good record‑keeping, communication and interpersonal skills, with understanding of child safeguarding.
