SDET / Test Engineer

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled SDET / Test Engineer to be the quality backbone for our software solutions, designing automation frameworks and CI/CD quality gates.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain scalable automation frameworks across UI, API, and integration layers.
• Embed quality early in the SDLC by partnering with engineers during design and development.
• Build and maintain automated test pipelines that gate deployments.
• Contribute production‑level code where needed to ensure deep system understanding.
• Identify and test performance bottlenecks, race conditions, and failure modes.
• Leverage AI tools to generate test scaffolding, analyse failures and close coverage gaps.
• Collaborate with engineering, product and advisory teams to translate acceptance criteria into automated coverage.

• Engineering mindset with focus on maintainability, scalability and speed.
• High autonomy and grit, proactively identifying quality risks.
• Strong communication skills to explain technical risk to both engineers and non‑technical stakeholders.

• Automation tools: Playwright, Selenium, Cypress.
• Test frameworks: TestNG, JUnit, Cucumber.
• Programming languages: Java, TypeScript/JavaScript, Python.
• API testing: REST APIs, JSON payload validation.
• CI/CD platforms: Jenkins, Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions.
• Version control: Git.
• Cloud platforms: GCP, AWS, Azure.
• Containerisation: Docker.
• Performance testing tools: JMeter, k6.
