Security Supervisor

About the role

Accor is looking for an experienced Security Supervisor to lead its security team in Kenya. You will ensure the safety of personnel, guests, assets and facilities while maintaining a professional, customer‑focused environment.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee daily activities of the security team, ensuring compliance with company policies and Kenyan regulations.
• Conduct regular risk assessments and implement security measures to mitigate threats.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and coordinate with local law enforcement and emergency services.
• Monitor CCTV, access‑control and alarm systems, analysing data for potential incidents.
• Investigate, document and report security incidents, violations and suspicious activities.
• Train, mentor and schedule security staff to guarantee optimal coverage.
• Perform security audits and inspections of premises.
• Liaise with clients, employees and visitors to address security concerns.

Required profile

• Proven experience as a Security Supervisor or similar leadership role in the hospitality sector.
• Minimum 2 years of security management experience.
• In‑depth knowledge of security operations, risk management and emergency response procedures.
• Familiarity with Kenyan security regulations and a valid security certification or licence.
• Strong leadership, problem‑solving and decision‑making abilities.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Physical fitness to stand for extended periods and work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
