Senior Campus Administrator – Facilities Management

About the role

The Senior Campus Administrator – Facilities Management provides senior-level oversight of facilities management operations across university campuses, ensuring buildings, infrastructure, and technical systems are well-maintained, safe, compliant, and support the university’s academic and operational needs.

Key responsibilities

• Oversee maintenance and repair of university buildings, structures, and technical installations (electrical, plumbing, HVAC, generators, lifts, etc.).
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance schedules and asset management systems.
• Supervise facilities technicians, the Clerk of Works, contractors, and maintenance staff.
• Ensure compliance with health, safety, fire, and building regulations.
• Manage facilities-related vendor contracts, procurement requests, and service level agreements.
• Respond promptly to facilities emergencies and prepare/manage maintenance budgets.

Required profile

• Christian commitment and practice.
• Master’s degree in Facilities Management, Building/Civil Engineering, Estate Management, or related field.
• Minimum 7 years’ experience in facilities/maintenance management, at least 2 in a supervisory/senior role.
• Professional certification (e.g., IFMA, BIFM/IWFM) is an advantage.
• Proven experience managing contractors, budgets, and maintenance teams.

Required skills

• Proficiency in maintenance management software.
• Proficiency in MS Office.
