About the role

The Senior Evaluation Manager will lead external, evaluative reviews of CGIAR research centers. Reporting to the IAES Evaluation Function workstream, the incumbent will ensure that independent evaluations are timely, high‑quality, and readily accessible to support management, learning, and decision‑making across the CGIAR system.

Key responsibilities

Manage the planning, execution, and reporting of external reviews for CGIAR research centers.
Collaborate with the fellow IAES Senior Evaluation Manager, other IAES workstreams, and CGIAR Center MEL colleagues.
Guarantee that evaluation findings are produced on schedule, meet rigorous quality standards, and are disseminated effectively.
Provide strategic input to CGIAR’s Council and other stakeholders based on evaluation outcomes.

Required profile

Extensive experience as an evaluation professional, preferably with organizations or research institutes.
Proven managerial experience overseeing complex evaluation projects.
Strong ability to work collaboratively across multidisciplinary teams.
