Senior Executive – Food Safety & Quality Assurance

About the role

We are seeking a senior leader to shape and drive our Food Safety and Quality Assurance strategy. Reporting to senior management, you will oversee all aspects of food safety, quality control, and compliance across our manufacturing operations.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and implement Food Safety and Quality Assurance strategies aligned with corporate goals.
• Lead, mentor and grow high‑performing QA and Food Safety teams.
• Establish quality standards for raw materials, processes and finished goods; monitor performance through metrics and reporting.
• Design, implement and maintain HACCP, GMP and other food safety programmes.
• Oversee sanitation, hygiene and contamination‑prevention initiatives.
• Lead internal and external audits, manage certification programmes (ISO, HACCP) and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Direct laboratory testing, develop procedures, maintain equipment and guarantee timely, accurate reporting.
• Maintain comprehensive documentation and drive continuous‑improvement projects.

Required profile

• Degree in Food Science & Technology or related field; Master’s degree is a plus.
• Minimum 8 years of experience in Food Safety & Quality Assurance within a food manufacturing environment.
• Proven experience managing laboratories, audits, certifications and compliance programmes.
• Strong leadership, analytical and communication abilities.
