Senior Full Stack Developer (React/Node.js)

About the role

SALIX Data, a global provider of business process outsourcing, forensic collection, e-discovery processing, cybersecurity and workflow automation services, is looking for an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer (React/Node.js) to design, build, maintain and enhance enterprise web applications used by growing organizations across North America. The role suits a hands-on developer who enjoys solving complex technical challenges and contributes to architecture decisions, in an Agile environment.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, enhance and maintain enterprise web applications with React.js and Node.js, including responsive front ends and scalable back-end services, APIs and integrations
• Take part in application architecture and technical design, and recommend technology improvements and modernization
• Design RESTful APIs and integrate applications with internal and third-party platforms
• Optimize database structures and queries, resolve performance bottlenecks and monitor system reliability and uptime
• Write clean, documented code, run code reviews, write unit, integration and system tests, and support CI/CD pipelines
• Troubleshoot defects and production issues, and collaborate with business analysts, architects, project managers and product stakeholders in Agile ceremonies

Required profile

• 5+ years of professional software development experience
• Proven experience building enterprise web applications
• Agile development and experience with distributed or cross-functional teams
• Preferred: insurance, financial services, FinTech or InsurTech experience, microservices, Docker, and Azure/AWS/GCP certifications
