Senior Functional Consultant – Microsoft D365 Finance & Operations

About the role

We are a Microsoft‑accredited Information Systems consultancy seeking a Senior Functional Consultant to lead the design, implementation and optimisation of Microsoft Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations solutions for a diverse client base. This client‑facing leadership position involves frequent local and international travel and requires strong business‑process expertise.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end D365 Finance & Operations implementation projects.
• Conduct business‑process analysis and facilitate solution‑design workshops.
• Gather, analyse and document detailed business requirements.
• Configure D365 Finance & Operations modules to meet client needs.
• Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs) and Solution Design Documents (SDDs).
• Perform fit‑gap analysis and recommend industry best practices.
• Coordinate with technical consultants on customisations, integrations, reports and data migration.
• Lead Conference Room Pilots (CRPs), User Acceptance Testing (UAT) and Go‑Live activities.
• Develop user manuals, deliver end‑user training and provide post‑Go‑Live support.
• Design reporting solutions using Power BI and enterprise data platforms.
• Mentor junior consultants and support pre‑sales activities.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, IT, Business Information Systems, Accounting, Finance or a related field.
• Minimum 5 years of Microsoft Dynamics ERP consulting experience.
• At least five full end‑to‑end D365 Finance & Operations implementations as a Functional Consultant.
• Experience across multiple industries and regions is highly desirable.
• Relevant certifications (e.g., MB‑310, MB‑330) and professional qualifications such as CPA (K) are a plus.

• Knowledge of Power Platform and Microsoft Azure integration concepts.
