Senior Gender & Human Rights Expert

About the role

NTU International is seeking a Senior Gender & Human Rights Expert to join a pool of qualified non‑key experts for the “Cooperation Facility to Support the Implementation and Programming of EU Action and Team Europe Initiatives in Lesotho”. The expert will be mobilised on a short‑term, on‑demand basis to provide strategic guidance throughout the 48‑month project, starting January 2027.

Key responsibilities

• Integrate gender equality, human rights and social inclusion considerations into all project activities and EU interventions.
• Conduct gender and human‑rights analyses to inform policy and programming decisions.
• Support stakeholder consultations, facilitate policy dialogue and ensure inclusive participation.
• Advise project teams on mainstreaming cross‑cutting priorities and compliance with EU standards.

Required profile

• Minimum 10 years of professional experience in gender equality, social inclusion and human‑rights fields.
• Proven track record in development cooperation and international project environments.
• Experience working on EU‑funded projects is an advantage.
