Senior QA Engineer

About the role

As a Senior Quality Assurance Engineer at Ezra, you will play a pivotal role in maintaining the quality of our software products. This hands‑on position requires a strong interest in testing methodologies and collaboration with cross‑functional teams to deliver reliable, scalable solutions that meet customer needs.

Key responsibilities

• Architect and evolve automation frameworks across the Ezra financial ecosystem.
• Embed automated test cycles into CI/CD pipelines and the full software delivery lifecycle.
• Coordinate and execute technical integration and user‑centric validation workflows.
• Partner with engineering leadership to manage strategic deployment of robust software versions.
• Engineer custom utilities for testing telecommunications interfaces, digital wallets, core banking systems, and KYC services.
• Continuously optimize automation architectures and QA methodologies.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Computer Science or related field, or equivalent experience.
• Minimum 4 years of hands‑on QA automation experience, preferably in a senior role.
• Proven expertise with SQL Server, Azure SQL and NoSQL databases.
• Deep familiarity with DevOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, and cloud deployments.
• Extensive experience working in Agile environments and applying TDD/BDD.
• Professional proficiency in English, both spoken and written.

Required skills

• Automation with Java, Groovy or Scala.
• CI/CD orchestration using Jenkins.
• Unix/Linux and macOS command‑line proficiency.
• Shell scripting for automation.
• Web testing with Selenium WebDriver.
• Behavior‑driven testing using Gherkin, Cucumber or SpecFlow.
• Performance testing with JMeter.
• Familiarity with AWS, Docker, Jira and Bitbucket.
