Senior Reconciliation Specialist – FinTech

About the role

We are looking for a Senior Reconciliation Specialist to lead end‑to‑end reconciliation activities across multiple products, currencies and markets (Africa and GCC). You will own the reconciliation framework, drive automation, and ensure operational integrity for our digital banking platform.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and oversee daily product, balance and settlement reconciliations across several markets and currencies.
• Design, maintain and continuously improve reconciliation SOPs, documentation and audit trails.
• Execute complex product‑level reconciliations for high‑volume fintech transaction flows (wallets, payments, cards, lending, collections, settlements).
• Perform detailed balance reconciliations post‑transaction matching to guarantee accuracy.
• Drive automation initiatives and proactively manage reconciliation‑related risk.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams, external partners, payment providers, banks and regulators.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior reconciliation or financial control roles within fintech or digital banking.
• Strong analytical ability and technical expertise to handle multi‑currency, high‑volume transactions.
• Ability to work across regions (UAE, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda and new markets) and manage stakeholder relationships.
• Excellent communication skills and maturity to influence leadership decisions.
