About the role

The Senior Sales Manager will act as the strategic bridge between the Tejas sales team and customers across East Africa, translating business opportunities into tailored wireless and optical network solutions. This role focuses on driving revenue growth for wireline (DWDM & GPON) and wireless (4G/5G RAN & CORE) products while strengthening customer relationships.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead end‑to‑end sales cycles, from opportunity identification to contract finalisation.
  • Develop and present technical proposals and value propositions that address customer needs.
  • Coordinate with product management, engineering and delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and successful implementation.
  • Negotiate offers, manage pricing and oversee the creation of commercial contracts.
  • Build and mentor a high‑performing presales and support team within the region.
  • Track and report on order intake, win rates and other key performance indicators.

Required profile

  • Proven senior‑level experience in telecom sales or presales, preferably in East Africa.
  • Strong understanding of both wireline (optical transport) and wireless (4G/5G) market dynamics.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills with the ability to simplify complex technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to lead cross‑functional teams and close large‑scale deals.
