Senior Sales Manager – Telecom Solutions (Nairobi)

About the role

The Senior Sales Manager will act as the strategic bridge between the Tejas sales team and customers, translating business opportunities into tailored telecom solutions. Based in Nairobi, you will drive revenue growth by promoting and selling wireline (DWDM & GPON) and wireless (4G/5G RAN & Core) products.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end sales cycles, from opportunity identification to contract finalisation.
• Develop and present technical proposals and value propositions that address customer needs.
• Collaborate with product management, engineering and delivery teams to ensure solution feasibility and smooth execution.
• Negotiate offers, manage customer engagements and oversee presales support within the region.
• Track and improve win rates, order intake and overall market share.

Required profile

• Proven senior‑level experience in telecom sales, preferably within wireline and wireless domains.
• Strong business acumen with the ability to align technical solutions to customer objectives.
• Demonstrated leadership in building and managing high‑performing presales or support teams.
• Excellent communication skills for presenting complex technologies in clear business terms.
