About the role
We are seeking a Senior Security Officer to lead our security team at our Westlands facility in Nairobi. The role involves overseeing daily security operations, ensuring the safety of personnel, assets and complying with industry standards.
Key responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate a team of security officers.
- Develop, implement and monitor security procedures and protocols.
- Conduct risk assessments and manage emergency response plans.
- Ensure compliance with health, safety and regulatory requirements.
- Liaise with management and external agencies on security matters.
Required profile
- Diploma or Certificate in Security Management, Criminology or a related field.
- Minimum 5 years of experience in security operations, preferably in a supervisory or senior role.
- Experience in pharmaceutical, manufacturing or industrial environments is an advantage.
- Strong leadership, communication and problem‑solving abilities.
- Disciplined, vigilant and highly responsible.
