Senior Supply Chain Management Officer

About the role

The Senior Supply Chain Management Officer will oversee procurement, supplier management, inventory control, contract administration and ensure compliance with supply chain policies and regulations for Mama Ngina University College.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the Procurement Officer and prepare tender documents.
• Provide secretariat services to tender opening, technical evaluation and procurement committees.
• Prepare periodic procurement reports and participate in technical and financial evaluation of tenders.
• Handle queries from internal and external customers and implement procurement manuals.
• Conduct market research, prepare specifications and ensure safe custody of stores.
• Dispose of unserviceable, obsolete and surplus stores and equipment.
• Participate in quality management, performance contracting processes and issue stores to users.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Logistics, Procurement, Commerce or Business Administration (or equivalent).
• At least six (6) years of relevant supply‑chain experience, including three (3) years at Supply Chain Management Officer I level or comparable.
• Relevant professional certification and registration with a recognized professional body.
