Senior Supply Chain Management Officer

About the role

The Senior Supply Chain Management Officer will support the Principal Supply Chain Management Officer in overseeing procurement, inventory, and supplier management for the academy. This permanent, pensionable position is based onsite in Westlands, Nairobi.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare investor and store control procurement plans and assist in annual procurement planning.
• Participate in the preparation, advertisement, opening and evaluation of tenders and disposal processes.
• Conduct stocktaking, manage receipt, storage, inspection and issuance of stores, and initiate stock replenishment requisitions.
• Prepare procurement management and periodic supply chain management reports.
• Perform market surveys, source suppliers, and verify rationing of stores when demand exceeds supply.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Procurement, Supplies Management, Business Administration (Supply Chain Management option), Commerce (Supplies Management option) or equivalent.
• Minimum three years of relevant experience at the grade of Supply Chain Management Officer I or comparable role.
• Membership of the Kenya Institute of Supplies Management or a recognized professional body.

Required skills

• Proficiency in computer applications.

What we offer

• Basic salary range Ksh 71,500 – Ksh 141,500 per month.
• House allowance of Ksh 20,000, commuter allowance of Ksh 14,000 and leave allowance of Ksh 6,000.
