About the role

Exotic Online is seeking a motivated SEO Intern to join its digital marketing team in Nairobi. This full‑time, on‑site position offers hands‑on experience in improving organic search performance across multiple platforms while learning industry‑standard tools and techniques.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct keyword research to identify high‑value search terms.
• Assist with on‑page optimization of website content and metadata.
• Perform basic SEO audits to uncover technical and content‑related opportunities.
• Support link‑building initiatives using ethical strategies.
• Monitor web‑analytics metrics and track traffic trends.
• Prepare simple performance reports for the marketing team.
• Collaborate with content creators, developers, and marketers to implement SEO best practices.

Required profile

• Ability to conduct keyword research and apply on‑page SEO best practices.
• Basic familiarity with SEO audits and technical optimization.
• Interest in ethical link‑building methods and improving domain authority.
• Foundational knowledge of web‑analytics tools such as Google Analytics.
• Strong written and verbal communication with attention to detail.
• Pursuing or recently completed a degree/diploma in Marketing, IT, Communications, or a related field.
