Service Project Manager

About the role

ADEC Kenya is hiring a full-time, on-site Service Project Manager in Nairobi. The role covers planning and managing service projects, coordinating technical teams, monitoring budgets and timelines, managing client expectations and ensuring projects meet quality standards. The position is middle level and requires a degree in Project Management or a related field.

Key responsibilities

• Scope new managed services and support and deliver all projects within the SMO governance framework (SLA/KPI, process compliance, internal audits).
• Handle implementations, internal projects, change management, service improvement plans, reporting and shared services management.
• Create and maintain project plans and associated documentation.
• Lead or take part in regular project update meetings with customers and internal teams, and circulate minutes and action items.
• Maintain clear lines of communication and responsibility, delegate tasks to internal and customer resources, and understand service methodologies and project management processes.
• Monitor project performance to ensure timely delivery and develop detailed project plans to track progress.

Required profile

• Bachelor's or college degree in any field.
• Previous experience in BPO and customer service and/or technical accounts.
• At least 2 years of team management experience.
• Proven track record of the skills and qualities described.
• PMP certification is preferred but not required.
