Short-Term Expert – Knowledge Transfer & Capacity Building

About the role

Sustainet Group Limited is seeking a short‑term expert to lead knowledge transfer and capacity‑building activities for its digital wallet and platform initiatives in East Africa. The role combines technical systems integration with hands‑on training for smallholder and agricultural MSME partners.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver training modules on digital wallet operations and API integration.
• Support the integration of backend systems and platforms for partner organisations.
• Provide on‑site technical assistance and mentorship to local teams.
• Document best practices and create reusable knowledge assets.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to ensure seamless system deployment.

Required profile

• University degree in Computer Science, Data Science or a related field (Master preferred).
• Minimum 5 years of professional experience in systems integration, backend engineering or platform operations.
• At least 3 years of experience with digital wallets and API integration.
• Regional experience in Kenya or comparable markets (e.g., Uganda, Tanzania, Nigeria).
• Experience working with smallholder farmers or agricultural MSMEs.
