Site Quality Manager

About the role

Unilever is seeking a Site Quality Manager to lead quality and consumer safety initiatives at its Kenyan manufacturing site. You will ensure compliance with local regulatory requirements, drive continuous quality improvement, and protect the brand’s reputation by safeguarding product safety.

Key responsibilities

• Implement and maintain the Unilever Quality Management System (QMS) at the site.
• Lead quality improvement projects and monitor performance against site-specific targets.
• Coach and develop the site quality team, ensuring they have the necessary skills and knowledge.
• Collaborate with site leadership to embed a strong quality culture.
• Participate in quality meetings, forums, and virtual network sessions as the site representative.
• Manage consumer safety issues and address customer concerns promptly.

Required profile

• Proven experience in quality management within a manufacturing environment.
• Strong understanding of local regulatory requirements and consumer safety standards.
• Leadership ability to influence and develop site personnel.
• Excellent decision‑making skills with impact on product safety and brand equity.
