Production Supervisor

About the role

We are looking for a hands‑on, detail‑oriented Production Supervisor to lead the washing, quality control, packaging and distribution of reusable glass bottles at our Eastern Bypass facility in Nairobi. Reporting to the Operations Manager, you will ensure production targets are met while maintaining the highest standards of quality, safety and environmental compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor daily, weekly and monthly production schedules to achieve output targets.
• Supervise all production activities across washing, quality control, packaging and distribution, ensuring smooth workflow and timely delivery.
• Create, review and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to guarantee consistency and compliance.
• Monitor production performance, identify gaps and drive continuous improvement to increase efficiency and reduce waste.
• Oversee operation, start‑up, monitoring and shutdown of key equipment including boiler systems, bottle rinsers, dryers, washing lines and reverse‑osmosis water treatment.
• Ensure machinery is well‑maintained and operated safely, monitoring boiler pressure, temperature, water levels and fuel efficiency.
• Enforce health, safety and environmental protocols and proper use of personal protective equipment.

Required profile

• Highly motivated and hands‑on professional with strong attention to detail.
• Proven experience supervising production processes in an industrial setting.
• Ability to develop and enforce SOPs and safety procedures.
