Process Controls Engineer

About the role

The Process Controls Engineer is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining automation and control systems used in slurry manufacturing and chemical delivery. You will work closely with engineering and production teams to drive continuous improvement through system upgrades and modifications.

Key responsibilities

• Design control schemes for slurry manufacturing and chemical delivery systems.
• Lead, manage, or assist with engineering projects and implement upgrades using change‑control procedures.
• Perform data analysis and apply Statistical Process Control (SPC) techniques.
• Program and maintain PLCs and HMI interfaces for automated manufacturing equipment.
• Provide sustaining and troubleshooting support for existing control systems across Engineering, Maintenance, and Facilities.
• Complete other duties as assigned.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (Chemical, Mechanical, or Electrical preferred).
• Approximately 3 years of relevant experience.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and decision‑making abilities.
• Safety awareness and ability to work under pressure.
• Detail‑oriented, innovative, and organized.

Required skills

• PLC programming and HMI development.
• VB scripting.
• SQL and basic computer networking.
• Experience with Statistical Process Control (SPC) and data analysis.
