Site Safety Manager

About the role

The Site Safety Manager will lead safety initiatives on construction sites, ensuring a proactive safety culture and compliance with all regulations. This role works closely with project leadership to identify risks, conduct training, and drive continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor daily site activities, conduct inspections, and produce written reports on site conditions.
• Partner with management to implement a positive safety culture and address safety or risk concerns.
• Lead site safety training meetings and respond to safety incidents, assisting with accident investigations and root‑cause analysis.
• Review safety infractions, recommend improvements, and document corrective actions with site management.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and company safety standards across all project sites.
• Assist project leadership in developing and updating safety plans.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or 5‑7 years of construction safety experience.
• Professional safety certification (CSP, ASP, or CHST) and OSHA‑Authorized Outreach Trainer qualification.
• Regular, timely attendance and ability to work independently.
• Strong problem‑solving skills and attention to detail.
• Effective communication with customers, vendors, and employees.

Required skills

• Intermediate proficiency with the MS Office suite (Word, Outlook, Teams).
