Site Services Installation Technician – Data Center Containment

About the role

Subzero Engineering is looking for skilled Installation Technicians to deploy Hot and Cold Aisle Containment systems in mission‑critical data centers across North America. You will work on‑site, installing doors, roof panels, and related components while ensuring compliance with customer security and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Measure, cut, assemble, and install aluminum, steel, glass, and plastic containment components.
• Interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and design specifications to guide installations.
• Troubleshoot field issues and perform inspections and maintenance on installed systems.
• Submit accurate expense reports and maintain tools and equipment in safe condition.
• Represent Subzero Engineering professionally and uphold confidentiality of project information.

Required profile

• High School Diploma or GED; vocational or technical training in construction, electrical, mechanical, HVAC, or related fields.
• 2–4 years of experience in construction, field service, assembly, or mechanical maintenance.
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening.
• Experience working in data centers or mission‑critical facilities is a plus.

Required skills

• Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and construction equipment.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Basic knowledge of HVAC systems and data‑center cooling principles.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem‑solving capability.
